Job Description
The Center for Trauma and Mental Health and the Center for Climate and Health at the BU School of Public Health are seeking an Administrative Manager (AM) to provide administrative, data management, and communications support.

The Administrative Manager will oversee all center communication with primary responsibility for the content of regular internal and external center communication, regular updating of center websites, ascertainment of content, production of external-facing center newsletters, and maintenance of listservs. The AM will be the point of contact for all central BUSPH administrative units and will respond to queries from these units as able.

The person in this role will develop systems and maintain data for tracking all center productivity including work produced by affiliated faculty and students, and center-led initiatives (e.g., funding outcomes of projects discussed at grant preparation workshops). They will organize all center-related activities and events (e.g., attendance at school-wide symposia, sponsored tables at various conferences, and annual retreats) by securing space, inviting speakers and guests, overseeing event preparation, day of event activities, and managing event follow-up (e.g., post-event evaluation surveys). In conjunction with the Administrative Director, the AM will also be responsible for managing staff hires for both centers in addition to managing budgets.

This is an in-person/on-premises role with the occasional opportunity for remote work, upon consideration of the impact on business operations.

Standard operating hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
